Information

Country Radio is a private radio station that was established in August 1991 as the first country music station in Europe.

Country Radio is a limited company. The exclusive right for broadcast times of the Country Radio station belongs to Country and Western, Ltd.

Country Radio is a member of the Association of Private Broadcast Operators (APSV).

FORMAT OF COUNTRY RADIO

Music station broadcasting mainly as follows: Country, folk, hits of the 60’s, spiritual and gospel, tramp music, bluegrass, Scottish, Irish and Australian music, classic rock´ n´ roll, Southern rock, etc. The ratio between Czech and foreign production is 70% : 30%

RADIO SIGNAL BROADCAST

Country Radio currently broadcasts one program simultaneously in Prague, Central Bohemia and in Brno.

BUSINESS STRATEGY

In May 1996, the business department was established. It represents Country Radio on the local radio market. That department has eight sales representatives. All the members of the business department apply an individual approach to each client with regards to their business and advertising campaign goals.
